Is this a ticket Republicans could support?
The cult of Trump is causing many Republicans to search for an alternative without compromising their conservative values. Could Liz Cheney's ousting and Paul Ryan's return to the spotlight be the ticket that pulls the country back from the craziness and chaos of Trump to a conservative administration that actually has the ability to reach across the aisle?
Many Republicans agree that ousting a duly elected public official because they do not support a specific politician as abhorrent. This is the opposite of democracy and should never be supported. It is a slippery slope on the way to fascism.
Support Paul Ryan for President and let us know if you think Liz Cheney would be a good running mate.
Mr. Ryan, Liz Cheney, McConnel, McCarthy, Pence, and so many names to include tell us to move on from the past Republican strategies and leadership, then return to the past by supporting these Dempublicans, and past leadership governing methods. These people are no better than our current politicians who bully, and "rule" as if we are their ignorant subjects. Shameful. I do not recognize my country, and yearn for the past when our lives were successful, prosperous, and hopeful, and when our vote was counted lawfully. I yearn for a future void of political corruption, control, lies, fear, non-representation, threats, insecurity, and national economic, social, cultural, and institutional collapse. What have all these disrespectful, entitled political players done with our…
Growing up in a conservative household, I became someone who looked to the party as a beacon to the protection of our Constitution, and had moral fortitude. In recent years, despite maintaining some of the parties platform agendas; I've felt my party has left the beaten path of truth, right, defense of our Constitution, for the elixir peddling of a man who by his own actions should have been disqualifying. Yet, the Republican base was sold on the idea, that our government was bad, and this one man could fix the heartburn many from both sides of the isle would felt.
What surprises me to this very moment, is how the Republican party can still stand behind such a flawed…
Absolutely. WHAT a great ticket.
While I support most of Trump's policies, I think Trump's personality has provided fuel to the fire of the far left and caused a bandwagon affect for the Democrats. I like the idea of Paul Ryan running for President because of his experience and his demeanor but I need to know how Ryan will address current issues before I support his campaign. If Ryan runs for President, he will have a challenge taking votes from DeSantis (who currently has my support) or Trump (better option than any Democrat candidate) because DeSantis and Trump have recently demonstrated their policies, while Ryan has sat on the bench for years. As for Liz Cheney as a potential running mate for Ryan, I do…
I've always liked Paul Ryan as a leader who understands what it takes to get things done. I'd love to see a Paul Ryan/Liz Cheney, Paul Ryan/Nikki Haley or Paul Ryan/Mark Milley ticket!! People that understand how to pick their battles, compromise when needed and keep the country moving forward.
